oil paint shoe

MY goals in this were to create a shoe out of oil pastels. I accompished them by using pastels to make my colors pop and have everything look realistic. My painting is about makeing the shoe look real and have the colors look good. The most difficult thing i had to face was doing the original shoe. I met the challenge by taking my time and making the shoe look real. I think my work really works where the shoe has the designs. I have learned to mix colors to make a color that i want. Taylor really helped me with the shape of the shoe and making it look good. If i had a do over i think i would mix different colors. The thing i feel best about is my colors in the work, i feel like they really pop and make the work look good.

wayne theabaud pencils

MY goals in this were to create a life looking pictutre of pencils. I accompished them by using pastels to make my colors pop. My painting is about shadows and different colors. The most difficult thing i had to face was doing my shadows. I met the challenge by mixing different colors to create a good looking shadow to reflect the light. I think my painting really works on the pencils with thte different shades of color. I have learned to mix colors to make a color that i want. Taylor really helped me with the shadows and to grasp the idea of them. If i had a do over i think i would mix the shadows wiht different colors. The thing i feel best about is my colors in the pencils, i feel like they really pop and make the drawing look good.

artist choice

I did this because i wanted to do something out of the ordinary and unique. I could have just done my one eye but i thought the three eyes resembled a face and that is what i found the most interesting about it.

chinese box

My goals and intentions in this artwork was to show a chinese take out box and make it look realistic using charcoal. I accomplished these goals by taking my time and creating shadows with the charcoal. What suprised me most was that if you make the right lines and shade everything right, it really comes together and looks cool. My drawing is about shadows and dark and light. I tried to portray the light coming on the right side by making that side lighter and the other side darker because that is where the shadows where. The most difficult challange i had to face was making sure it all came together and looked like the actual box. I met my challenege by getting help from mr. gadreau and he helped me make my lines. I think my drawing really works in the lower right corner with the light. Some things i have learnded is that i dont need to make dark lines i can just use my eraser and use that to decifer the light and dark. I learned from taylor that i should use the white chalk in places i wanted it to be lighter because it makes it look better then just using an eraser.
